We may never know for sure but why does the left ALWAYS look at the dim side? It's true that the right always looks at the good side, but isn't that better in the long run? Aren't we, again, encouraging the enemy to fight harder by saying the British have had enough and leaving? If we knew this for a fact it would still not be in our own troops best interests to tell the enemy. |
I believe that part of the reason they are coming home is political and part of the reason, like I said before, is because they are in an area that the Iraqi's pretty much have under control. Basra, with the exception of a couple of incidents hasn't really ever been a hot spot. Truth be told, (You won't hear this on CNN) a good part of Iraq is doing ok. It's just a large area around Bagdad that's f*d up.
Do you feel that the left wants us to be successful in Iraq or have they already given up? What ramifications will this have if we quit? I think we tell the enemy too much. Hell...they probably knew about the "SURGE" before we did. So much for the element of surprise...thanks to politics.
