Your court case isn’t relevant because it applies to a California Penal Code, not Kansas.
Attempting to claim the bumper sticker isn’t partisan because it doesn’t refer to W’s war while we are currently at war is a lame attempt at spin. I suspect there are some Code of Conduct issues with her employer regarding workplace language that might apply also.
Rights or not, this business of pushing the envelope while abusing freedom of speech is the kind of behavior that results in other folks looking for ways to limit our freedoms. Again, would the Gov be so supportive of this free speech if the sticker said “#### Mexicans” or “#### Blacks”? I think not.
