As far as the Night Clubs being mostly Hispanic and the shops downtown being mostly Hispanic...well....isn't this a symptom of the issue? What is the REAL Hispanic population in
DC? 75%? If so then it would make sense that 75% of business is Hispanic or caters to the Hispanic population. You won't drive down on 18th and Troost in KC and see a Red Lobster or Mexican places to dine because that area is predominately black. Like it or not
DC is predominately Hispanic and therefore we get everything that goes along with that. The mall is steadily getting more Hispanic shops...they are moving up from downtown to the mall one by one and as the Hispanic population increases so will the shops/bars that cater to them. The fix is close the meat plants, other than that...it's status quo..get used to it.
