| Yes, it may be painful, but pain heals, and they are sure to give you drugs to get you through the worst of the pain. It is also painful to lose a loved one. I also wouldn't hesitate to give my marrow or kidney or part of my liver if a relative needed it, be it a sibling, parent, cousin or whoever.
