| I'm a little vague on the details, but does anyone remember the news story (within the last couple years) of the man serving life in prison who'd donated a kidney to his daughter? The daughter didn't take her anti-rejection medication the way she should have, and the kidney was rejected. Her father then wanted to donate his last remaining kidney to the daughter - meaning that he'd be on dialysis for the rest of his life at tremendous cost to the prison system. |
