| 48 states have some type of gambling. In our society there will always be victims. No matter how much you try to help someone you can't help those that don't want to help themselves. There are many people that gamble recreationally, just like there are many people that drink socially. There are always those who use something to excess and it hurts them. We don't ban drinking because of the drunks.... Missouri takes in over 200,000,000 a year from gambling revenue....think about just a portion of that coming to Dodge City..along with all the economic stimulus for this town... Right now what is stimulating our economy beside the meat packing plant? The plants probably do more harm than a casino will with their crime, gangs, raping of our resources and overcrowding of our schools with illegals...but we accept that for what? Higher taxes, higher crime, etc etc etc...and a lot of that money goes OUT of Dodge....
