An unfortunate college incident left me unable to drink tequila until just recently - when an equally unfortunate (although very different) incident found me rediscovering the blissful nectar that On The Border calls a "top shelf margarita."
That having been said, a shot of tequila in any form would have had me saying "screwit" to the music/gig thing and looking for a guy to take home.
When I'm playing, I stick to a glass of wine. Definitely a safer bet.
