| I'm against any gaming that's approved by Topeka simply because most of the revenue goes to Topeka. Local entities don't even get a sales tax cut from existing lottery dollars.... the money just disappears from our local revenue stream.
As it stands today, should Pedro, Juan and Sancho get together and redistribute their monies over a deck of cards or the speed of a racehorse, their monies remain and are available for buying from the local economy at the end of the game.
The State's version will create a group of neckties whose sole purpose is to collect the lion's share and remove those dollars from Ford County...
