This brings to mind the Baldknobbers in Branson MO. They use an old red bard and draw crowds from several states away. And it DOES go well the the theme.
Personally, as a person who practices the "live within your means" in my own household, I would welcome the idea of a scaled down version of the project. We aren't Denver, we don't have the revenue to build some 40 million dollar events center. The mill levy is already tapped and the sales taxes are too. Give the taxpayer a break!!
