When the State of Kansas repealed the overall prohibition of concealed-carry they designated certain places where c-c was specifically prohibited. Those places include schools.

Now consider this: in designating schools and other government property as gun-free, the State is placing the responsibility of our welfare and safety upon themselves or the city, county or school district. They are saying "You can't protect yourself with a personal firearm while here."

In doing so, they are shouldering that responsibility.

Let's take it one step further; when a business declares their property as gun-free, the business owner is also saying that THEY are going to protect their patrons when/if someone goes postal on their property.

It will be a very interesting legal argument......
