| I will submit that I was worried about the potential for accidents with conceal/carry in public places. I am no longer worried. I would just as soon someone that is trained and with permit and with firearm be around to protect themselves and others. Even someone without a permit.
I do agree that schoolchildren do not need guns and it would be difficult for teachers/admin to have them around (guns), but there should be armed officers/security in school settings.
In college, there should be more security, armed security and the ability for adults to carry firearms for personal protection. I do not feel that security in any form is enough to protect me and my family in any public setting. Knowing that the actual chance that I may be in a situation similar to the Va Tech situation is extremely thin, I would like to err on the side of a .38 mag.
