The double standard exists everywhere for minorities. Whites are held to a totally different standard than all other minorities.

Chris Rock is just one out of hundreds of examples that could be presented- Richard Prior, Red Foxx and even Eddie Murphy have catapulted their careers using white racial material. But as long as it;s toward whites, we have grown to let that slide. The same lines, with a black connotation would not be tolerated. Not just in humor, but the double standard is becoming part of everything..

What do you think would happen if there became such a thing as the "United Whites College Fund", or "White Starz Television Channel" or a million man march for whites, or "Bay Area White Nurses", or the "San Francisco White Firefighters Association", "National Council of White Women, and so on and so on. All of these groups exist in the black form, but shit would hit the fan if any group tried to form that was specifically for whites. We think nothing of it when it's a Black or Latino group...at least we aren't supposed to. Oh no, We must be PC.

The truth is, for the past 10-20 years, it's bad to be white. We've been taight by society that the minorities are underdogs so they can do and say things that whites cannot..and the divide is growing.

When was the last time you've seen a white actor, leader or politician get on TV and make a huge deal about a black person making a racial remark about whites. It hasn't happened, and if it did it wouldn't be sensational enough to make news.

The double standard is prominent and unambiguous. To deny it exists is being unrealistic.

I want to have the same rights as them, be able to join a white club, get a white scholarship, watch an all white channel without someone calling me racist- they can. Most of all, want to be able to talk about it without being called a racist, they're not.

I didn't own any slaves, nor did my father, grandfather or great-grandfather- I owe no penance. Why am I being held to different standards just because I am white?
