I know someone that owns and operates casinos and such in other countries. Based on the square footage of this proposal, the DC casino could support upwards of 800-1200 slot machines. If each slot only earned $100.00 a day that would make $100,000 a day. Take that times 365 (since they never close) and that makes $36.5 million a year. However, that's based on the low end. Now if each slot makes $200 a day or $300 a day...you can do the math. Plus, you still have the table games and their revenues where the big boys lose their money. The $200 million may seem like a lot, but it will be recovered in a very short amount of time. A tremendous amount of cash will be flowing through that building. | Sure hope they can bring in 800-1200 people a day
