El Catlan

Hi All-
El Catlan is a Central American restaurant on West Wyatt Earp between the Pizza Hut and Taco Tico (The old Burrito Express/ KFC(If you're a real old timer)). I went to this place for lunch today. It was STUNNINGLY GOOD!!!! I thought I was somewhere in the Yucatan. I had fried plantains and a seafood cocktail and they were possibly the best, most authentic and fresh dishes I have ever had in a restaurant in this town. The prices are remarkably low, too. The food doesn't come out real fast but it is totally worth the wait. I had heard that the food was okay, but I was blown away by the quality of what I ate. The folks that work there are very nice, the girl working the counter today spoke english very well, ( I had heard from others that no one spoke english) and was extrremely friendly. Give this place a try. It has a lot of things on the menu that are different than the standard Mexican menu everywhere else in Dodge.
