At this point in the cat's life, it is not self-sustaining.
It is dependant on everyone around it.
It will need to be fed and taken care of for the rest of it's life. It' will constantly turn to people for hand outs of food and everything else it needs.
Therefore the cat is by it's very nature, a liberal democrat. I am sure wordy would let it ride in the front seat with him.
Hell, he may even let it drive!
