Thank you for saying not all jailers treated you bad. I know some and they are decent people doing a sucky job, but like all jobs, it just takes one bad one to unfairly give the others a bad name. It's easy for us to see one Mary Kay Letourneau and think all teachers are child moesters. Or that all Mexicans who work at a beef plant are illegal. I think it's human nature to label people. I don't know if this cop is guilty or innocent, but I hope I don't start thinking that all cops are guilty just because they wear a badge. |
See Miss Kitty, thank you, I want to say that. I want to say something else which this board may or may not like. Miss Kitty has a good point about labeling people and Alot of LEO are the worst at labeling people because of what others say or what people have done in the past...Sorry but true. But when it comes to one of their own, than boy howdy THEY HAVE CHANGED!
About five years ago I knew something about a LEO that was just hired. He was on the path of getting a divorce to a girl I worked with. I told her what I knew about him because I didn't think it would be cool for her children to be with him. She took this info to the DCPD (John Ball) and let him know what I said. They took me in for questioning and I talked with Craig Mellecker. I told the complete truth. The girl I worked with called John Ball one day and asked him why this guy (after what I told him) was still working for him...guess what he said....Because I am not a credible person for what I said, basically because of my past. My past with drugs would be my guess. Ya know I may have done alot of things in my past but being a LIAR was not one of them.
Sad thing is if John Ball would have listened to me back then, none of this might be happening today. And no I am not saying Chris is the person I was questioned about,but his best friend was. Chris was mentioned as well.
John Ball judged me. I was born and raised in
DC , and these people came out of nowhere! yes I did some things in the past, but I was never a real bad person. I made mistakes like anyone else. At the time of questioning I was trying to change my life. I was working for Youthville at the time so that should have gave Ball the first clue!
So what I am trying to say is some LEO are just as guilty of giving people a label just as we are. But when it comes to one of their own they are so quick to have their back no matter what.
And as for John Ball....You need to quit being such an ass and quit judging people because of their past.
