You know I see where each case is different, but I seem to think that we should be informed if a criminal's on the loose. I can remember a stabbing a couple of years back and while that person didn't do it, (he was acquitted this past month) the police and the media sure didn't have a problem sharing his name and photo. I can remember quite a few articles that painted this individual's crime, which was first degree attempted murder. I can think of other instances where that's been the case too. I just don't think that they are protecting and serving the public by withholding this information. They, either the KBI or DCPD sure weren't protecting the people of CO when this nutjob was driving down the wrong side of the interstate and not being watched more carefully!
