Wow, this thread went south in a hurry. Dawg, I'm sure there are ways to make your points without the insults and personal attacks on Bubba. When you start attacking people like a rabid animal you lose credibility. The bottom line is that POLICE are held to a higher standard because they wear a uniform and represent the CITY OF DODGE, just like the military. (as Wordy stated)When those looters from Fort Riley looted Greensburg they gave the Army a black eye because that is who they represent. If a police officer drives while on his/her cell, tosses a cig butt out the window or is seen sitting somewhere we think he shouldn't be then people notice...and he represents the city. It's different than if an avg citizen was doing it because the Police Officer is being paid by Joe Citizen and is constantly in the spotlight... Having said that this guy is a murder suspect and police officer or not as citizens we have the right to know if there is a murder suspect running around loose. If he DID kill the woman then he is a piece of shit and should pay for it. This guy is supposed to be enforcing our laws not breaking them...
