You really don't think he was a public safety problem? He was stopped 2 or 3 separate times during the police chase, and each time he refused to leave the vehicle and sped off for them to chase again. They had to put out spike strips 2 or 3 times also. At one point he crossed the median on I-70 and was traveling in the wrong lanes. If that isn't a public safety problem, I don't know what is.
