| I'm wondering if perhaps he didn't find out the warrant was issued (it's a simple phone call anyone can make) then took off before they had a chance to serve it? Things happen very quickly sometimes - the Colorado folks would have not had a clue he was wanted had it not been for them checkin out his KS DL I bet. Agencies don't always talk to each other state to state and often county to county - depends on what kind of warrant it was.
