"Taco pablo" wow what goes through some peoples heads just amazes me.
I have had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Candia, he has even sat in on some hispanic advisory board meetings that i have been a part of. (Whoops, i can't believe that i just mentioned that i actually have sat on a hispanic advisiory board) And i must say he has always been very respectful so for you to start off this post with "taco pablo" really disturbs me. I wonder what people really think of me just because of my hispanic (MEXICAN) heritage. So it seems to me that your only problem with this article is the fact that a hispanic person wrote this. I wonder if you would have written this witty response if say any of the regular Globe writers wrote this and not a writer from "La Estrella"
Now as far as the article, I may be wrong but it looks like an editorial to me. I read numerous newspapers online (hutch, wichita, liberal, garden, topeka, salina) on a daily basis and guess what; each of these papers has an editorial section. I have read and re-read this article a few times now and really see nothing wrong. It looks just like most any other editorial that i have read before.
So here are some links to other editorial pages. Maybe you can find something wrong with them. And maybe, just maybe you will write in a response to those editorials. Oh wait a minute, you actually have to put your real name on the response in order for it to be printed.

But wait I can already see what the first response to me giving all of these links. "But it is not dodge City"
Oh, and since we are going with ethnic sterotypes on names, I think I may change my screen name to "Enchilada Hugz"
