| I get an email that tells me how the people representing Kansas vote. I received this in today's email. I thought I would pass it along. It seems that the minimum wage wasn't tied into the bill that funded the soldiers after all. It was split into 2 seperate bills. This is how Rep. Jerry Moran (R) voted...
"Supplemental Appropriations bill, Amendment No. 1 - Vote Passed (348-73, 12 Not Voting)
The House split the emergency supplemental spending bill into two parts, with this first part including the domestic spending and minimum wage hike portions of the bill.
Rep. Jerry Moran voted YES"
It seems that more than just a few republican representatives also voted for a minimum wage increase, since it passed with a vote of 348-73.
