Latino's on 2nd is an ok place really. Friday nights there are fun. Its the college night where they play a lot of hip-hop, rap, and techno. I don't go to the clubs for the musics usually. But I can't stay at one if its playing spanish music. It gives me a headache. Also I get enuf of that music at 2 or 3 am drivign by my house and rattling my windows. | I don't think that is exactly right. I think to sell beer on Sunday you have to have a certain percentage of your income as food. Thus, I don't think selling chips and nuts would equal enough of a percentage to allow the sale of alcohol on Sunday. I could understand the one on 2nd selling alcohol if they are a restaurant also, like it was when it was Longhorns. But the place on Ave P & Earp is a dinky little place.
Just found this information... Quote: |
Sunday sales of 3.2 beer were legalized for establishments that maintain at least 30% of their gross receipts of food beverages in the sale of food. | source- Kansas Department of Revenue - Alcoholic Beverage Control - History of Alcoholic Beverages in Kansas
