| the economy lodge is a dump!!! I've had so many people make reservations there, walk in to check in and leave because of the owner (indian guy) and or walk in the room and leave right after. They don't update anything.. He's wants money, but doesn't like to spend it to keep things going. I heard the pool area went to crap too, but I don't know that personally. He was on our choice chain (most econo lodges are unfortunatley) , but got kicked off because he couldn't keep up w/ standards. I called there once (around 4pm)to cancel a guests reservation and the desk clerk started lecturing me because I didn't cancel the room earlier (they weren't aware I was working at another hotel, they thought I was the guest) anywho they were upset because they could've sold the room earlier etc etc, I told them I called them 2 hours before their cancellation policy so it shouldn't be an issue. They were still gripping at me because I didn't call earlier to cancel. I called another time and the owner put me on hold than tried to cover the phone than started yelling at his daughter for the next 2 or 3 minutes while I was on hold. I would never ever send anyone there!!
I thought the legends always stayed at the Dodge House. Y the switch??
