I could have sworn we won the war in Iraq. I mean hell Bush made that speech on teh aircraft carrier in the Gulf with the big "Mission Accomplished" banner behind him. I thought that meant it was over. Oh well guess not...stupid me.

I agree with Wordy. Six years ago this post would have been nice. But now its going to be a hotbed conversation. The fact is that no matter what is said here, no opinions are going to be changed on either side of the extremes in this arguement. So it would be moot to point anything out that hasn't already been said. But oh well lets do it anyways.

9/11 wasn't Bush's fault, word of the wire from news sources say he knew about it a few weeks ahead of time and did nothing. But I'm unsure if I believe that. Its kinda like the same story about Roosevelt knowing that Pearl Harbor was going to be bombed. We won't ever truly know.

Let me ask a question though. Why do you think we are hated so much by the fundamentalist regimes?

Answer how you want because I have my own opinion on it.

Israel and our support for them. And, our history with abandoning secular regimes after helping to plan and finance coups in their countries.
