Again, just because something isnt published does not mean it has not been handled. And, even you said, "...the RUMOR indicated...". Most rumors turn out to be false, from what I have seen.

Do you realize traffic enforcement is just a secondary part of an officer's duties? It is what we do when we are not taking calls or doing follow up. I dont see how you can criticize an officer for enforcing a POSTED speed zone or stop signs - would you like to tell us where and when we can enforce traffic laws? Plus, as far as the construction zone is concerned, it is a safety issue for the workers with cars whizzing by at 35+ miles an hour. I know, you are now gonna counter with the fact that workers arent out at night - but they actually are! And there is no way to put a speed zone up for certain hours of the day - just not feasable.
