You have to be careful and not ruin someones life until he/she is convicted, for instance, say your in the middle of a nasty divorce and get accused of molesting your children. The parent may have been only giving the child a bath and goes home and tells the other parent....He/she touched my pee pee.

I'm sure that parent will be furious and notify authorities and then the investigation goes full tilt. Its important to wait for all the evidence. We are hopefully innocent, til proven guilty.

We can't have it both ways. Either we have rights or we don't in a court of law.
FWIW, the media could be responsible for the consequences if the report causes harm to a innocent person.
