I wont comment too much on the issue, but I could see a lot of nice new resturants, hotels, 24 hour establishments, and other things to come with the casino. Of course there is good and bad that can come of it, but does that not apply to everything? Maybe it will force a lot of needed clean up in this city, and maybe even encourage a few nicer housing developments, or neighborhoods. With the experience I have seen with Casino towns, major players and businesses are very attracted to these places because of the amount of people they bring in, and not just to gamble for a night or weekend, but in population in general. I believe with the addition of the Casino and the Special Events Center combined, the future could look very good for DC. I guess we will just have to see.
