| Feds funding Spanish company for Biofuel??

State officials have pinned hopes in part on a planned cellulosic ethanol plant slated for construction in Kansas by the Spanish energy producer Abengoa Bioenergy. Unlike ethanol made from corn or soybeans, cellulosic ethanol comes from the byproducts of plants.
The firm has yet to announce a site for the plant, which is being funded by a federal grant that is also financing five other plants across the country.
