Yes this is from Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce home page under “ Our Community” The problem that I have with this type of advertisement it is plain deceiving. Ask your self if you were to travel to Dodge after reading this, how would you feel? If you can not tell the truth why say it at all. Am I proud of the Chamber statement? No Way.
We live in a period that people can bend the TRUTH any way to their advantage. Example about the Casino. The ad on the radio has been tooting their horn about reducing our taxes. Do you think this will happen? Show me a paper where the City and County have made the statement they will lower taxes. In fact our “Taxes” may have to increase. You can bet on that. |
