| That's cause you are responible. Lots of folks even tho they pay for a house it is difficult to to keep up with the taxes and such. For many it's a convience thing and for others it's required by the mortage company or at least used to be. Mine was requird at the time of the loan but that was 30+ years ago. It's all history now so I have set the tax dept up on my online account. Works real good. I pick the date I want it paid and it's done.
