Fight 'em to the bitter end, Tee. Everybody's behind you (well, except City Hall and the commissioners!!!). I knew your tax levy was bad......you do know it tops ours in Johnson County, right? Our house is appraised (tax purposes) for $300M. Our taxes are around $2400/annually. And we live in Overland Park - not the boonies. Our subdivision has all the goodies the newer ones have - the pool, the HOA, the good fairies that scrape the snow down to glare ice in the night....all that good stuff. If I wasn't stuck up here, I'd be right down there with ya. Ya'all don't have that many services and there isn't a large enough tax base to support it all. Somebunny's gonna have to take a cut. Wow.
