Many moons ago, I was bitten by a mosquito carrying encephalitis. I was one of the lucky ones that year and lived to tell about it. Anyway, since then, I've done a lot of reading on the subject, trying to educate myself and stay away from the tiny little monsters!

Some of it has to do with your sugar intake. When I reduce my sugar intake, I find fewer mosquito bites. Alcohol, soda pop, sweetened tea - candy - all that stuff. I stay completely away from it for about 24 hours before I know I'm going to any outdoor entertainment - bbq's, baseball games, soccer, etc. It's working for me and it smells a whole lot better than the sprays that are out there!!!
