Sad thing to Army is more members don't always mean more money. These are the wrong types of "financial giving" members. Sure, they may number 1000, but when they only give $1, you still only get $1000. Now, little old lady that sits in the pew every weekend will contribute that much about every month or so. Our church had a pastor that thought the same as you and catered towards them (ie, more people = more money). They quickly found out that if you piss off the wrong people, your church will fold fast. So, now it's done out of sight of the Anglos.

That's why I started my own Church, Deuce. I got tired of footing the bill all the time, then getting "bent over"! In fact, there are a lot of us that discovered the same thing.
