I filled up at Flying J today and noticed a sticker that said "cell phones at gas pumps prohibited by law." I went inside to pay and called Bullshit on their stickers. I told them there was no law. Then they tried to tell me it is for safety reasons. I called BS again and told them there was more electricity in their digital readouts that tell me how much gas I've pumped than there is in the 3.6V battery in my cell phone. BTW, per an electrician gas pumps are wired with 120 volts AC and a 3.6 volt
DC battery in a cell phone is considered very low voltage.
They obviously don't go to snopes.com at the Flying J or watch Mythbusters!
