Well.. on an up note..

My kids loved the fact that they left with a sack of candy..

now for the downers... and additional complaints.

I was disappointed myself. We sat right on the corner of First and Wyatt Earp.. The band didn't even play where we were at.. LOVED near the end where the train cut through.. that was nice.. but the kids from the alley ended up dancing all around, because of a delay, so we got a bit more entertainment.

I don't know if I'm just getting older, and things are losing their excitement, or if it was just.. bleh...

And I was confused as to where the State Troopers and Highway Patrol were too.. I thought they all represented for the parade in the past..

*REALLY* had been hoping to see a bigger turn out from the National Guard though. They barely had enough people to man their vehicle, let alone do much else.

I suppose my biggest complaint would have to be the countless cars, that didn't have any decoration on them at all, what's the point???

Other than that, for (almost) an hour of free entertainment.. it was good.
