| First, the Wichita gaming interests will look at the viability of a South-Central casino in Sumner County. Sedgwick voters clearly said that they don't want the casino, so it then goes to Sumner who already voted in favor - probably along I-35, very near the Sedgwick County line.
Several groups have already looked at or expressed an interest in Dodge City. It's unknown whether any will file an application with Lottery and compete with Boot Hill Gaming.
I've heard there may be as many as a dozen applicants for the Wyandotte County facility.
