The story of several other casino managers/operators looking at filing with the lottery for a shot at the casino in our community has been floating around for some time now.

Does anyone know who these "Big Boys" are?

Let's suppose Boot Hill Gaming does not get the nod from the State, and some other, more experienced and qualified gaming business does. Will they want a Special Events Center tied in with their facility?

I spoke with Rick Sowers about a week and a half ago. As a City Commissioner and also sitting on the CFAB, he told me that both the SEC and the casino would have a convention center. Would that idea work with some other gaming operator than Boot Hill Gaming?

I believe that if some other gaming manager gets the deal with the State, they might not be so willing to give away their piece of the pie, by letting another facility (SEC) with a convention center be so close.
