| My basement flooded last big rain (water came up through sewer system) and my insurance would not cover it (luckily no damage done except time to clean it up) unless I got special insurance covering water coming up through the sewer (yes, there is special insurance just for that). If it is water coming from the sewer due to rain, then it is a flood and is not covered and since I am not in a flood plain it would be double what I pay now. Hopefully my house floods with flammable liquid and an unwary smoker wlaks by and flicks his cig at my house, then it would be covered. lol
