| Personally, I wouldn't let him play in any position with a broken anything. The damage that could be caused would ruin his career, if playing sports was the career he so chooses. While I understand the desire, need and want to get out there on the field..........it is not worth ruining a scholarship. Let the thumb heal, play in college and be happy.
