You know what sucks all around? That Wal Mart doesn't seem to have much competition there. I still won't go to the Wally's up here because of all the crap - people that don't speak English, parents that let their kids run wild, clerks that evidently don't care, etc., etc., etc. I have the luxury of being able to spend my dollars elsewhere. Like Army mentioned, we have HyVee, Apple Markets and a bunch of other really good ones. Even the Costco has some very good produce buys - and their cakes are yummy!! One of the best places to shop up here (sorry, not groceries) is the Nordstrom in Oak Park Mall. As expensive as it is in there, you'd think the staff would be snooty. I've found it to be the absolute best when it comes to customer service. They fall all over themselves to help customers. It's worth a few more bucks to me to be treated like royalty for a few hours once or twice a year!
