I'd be willing to bet that if the details of the "bullshit" you put up with were known we'd see that you were a big part of your own problems.
Life is what you make it and that includes where you live. I've found that people who complain about beig bored or that there's nothing to do where they live are just lazy. They expect someone to take responsibility for their entertainment rather than doing something about it themselves.

Very nicely put, Wordy!! I lived in
DC for 10 yrs and really enjoyed it. That being said, I did not believe in everything that went on. I still consider myself part of this town. I only live 20 miles away.
