Not so fast. That's not what I said. I said "Point being, a LOT more dexterity is required of the
hand of a QB, than the foot of a soccer player." Hand vs foot, not thumb vs foot. And yes, I think that a QB is more affected by a broken finger than a soccer player is affected by a broken foot. It's just common sense. Not every soccer player is required to kick the ball on every play, but every QB handles the ball on every offensive play. Plus, surely you can see that a lot more finesse is required to throw a football accurately than to kick a soccer ball.
