| Ok, OK, I was not even getting into this, but now I am getting pissed too. Kale not only broke his thumb, but he did serious ligament and tendon damage too. It is on his throwing hand. He did continue to play with it for a few plays, and would probably have continued if the Coaches would have let him. Arkansas wanted it surgically repaired immediately to avoid further problems. This will give it time to heal before the Spring season.
I have had both hand/finger and foot/toe injuries several times in my life. I cannot see trying to grab a football and controlling a throw with the damages that he had. On the other hand, they usually just taped my toe to the adjacent toe, and let it heal. Yeah, it was painful, but in no way did it hamper me as much as the hand injuries!
I really don't give a flying **** what you think about soccer, football, or gangbangs, but I don't like to see you picking on a kid for reasons that are not his fault. I would rather see you say a prayer or a word of encouragement that he heals OK. Can you imagine how he feels anyway, having to sit out his SENIOR season??? |
