| I am never surprised at what i read on this board. An actual argument on which sport is harder and requires more skill, wether a soccer players foot is more or less important as a quarterback's finger..........Cheese and rice this has turned into a ****in joke.
As for what Monster originally posted.......fine. His opinion is his and he spoke crassly about Pick by infering he was a pansy. So what. He appologized, for whatever reason, and that should be that unless someone just has a ****in loose hair up their ass that they can't scratch. As for comparing soccer to football, and having coached both and had kids playing in both, Fred, you are an idiot. If a soccer player hurts their toe to where they cannot walk properly, they cannot play. Where as, and no disrespect to Pick, he can still play defense. And if scoring in soccer is so easy....explain why an average football team scores about 4 to 5 touchdowns, plus field goals and an average soccer GAME has only 3 scores between both teams? While soccer is not as physicaly aggressive as football, it is non-stop running for the entire game and is a tad bit harder to run and kick a ball at the same time as just running and carrying it. I bet even you can throw a football 10 yards to a person, can you aim and kick a ball on target 10 yards? They are both tough sports to play and I respect any and all who do or try to do either of them.
As for Pick, I wish him the best and a good and speedy recovery. He is a good kid and a gifted athlete and it would be sad if something like this ended his playing.
