I was at the football game (Go Demons!) on the Liberal side of the field. An officer that I have met before, and know by name, was laying across some of the bleachers (his legs propped up on one set while he was leaning back on his elbow on another set) and talking to a young lady who appeared (notice I said appeared) to be a student from Liberal. While there is nothing wrong with talking to anybody, he was in uniform and his manner and attitude while talking to her definately did not convey a casual way of talking. Again, I am not mentioning anything wrong with talking to anybody, but he definately did not look professional. I stopped and looked at him and he nodded at me and kept talking. I just shook my head and went and sat down. A couple of students came and sat next to me and were discussing among themselves the officer. Needless to say, their conversation was not a positive one.
Again, I am mentioning this not because I wish to cause this officer any trouble or as a negative remark on our police department, only because it is this type of immaturity and unprofessionalism that makes it harder for those other officers to do their job. |
What the hell was he thinking?? *sarcasm/ |
