| "Tag you R it" OK so in todays Globe I see the Dodge City Police Department got tagged by graffiti. I know the first thing that comes to mind is to rag on the PD for the apparent lack of respect from local hoodlums, but instead I like to focus on what WE can do to help.
I've noticed this gang tagging getting worse and worse as well as calls over the scanner related to gang activity getting more frequent. Just this weekend I notice a trailer house, tagged by the 13th street punks, just a block away from my house. I had been waiting for something on my block to get tagged before taking steps, but I'm not waiting anymore.
What can we, as citizens, do about it? I plan to mount a video camera in hopes to catch these punks in action. What I don't understand is with all this tagging going on how can people not see it happen? Is it being seen and just not reported?
Lets see what ideas we can come up with to help the PD catch these punks.
