Nobody said to leave it out for a little bit. Just covering it up and doing nothing else
is ignoring the problem. It is a reactive stance. Get proactive and put up cameras to tape them in the act for identification purposes. Better yet, stake out the problem area with a "nightshot" camcorder, maybe a spotlight, a phone to call the police and a weapon for your personal protection (if it is on your property). That makes it proactive, you're actually doing something to put an end to the problem instead of just reacting to the problem once it has already happened by just covering it up.
