They are "taking action" ONLY because of the nation wide crackdown on illegal employment. They don't give a shit what we locals think about how they have destroyed our community. If they did they would have done some thing long ago, and they would be bringing in replacements from Puerto Rico. Its not rocket science.

What it is, is an outright disregard for the community that gave them a place to call home, only to shit on it at every opportunity. This covering of their own ass is a in your face way of saying we don't give a shit.

I don't have noting against Puerto Ricans but if you have ever been to Puerto Rico you know this is trading lemons for lemons. Al tho Puerto Rico is part of the US it has more in common with Mexico than the states. Some of them do speak English, but I highly doubt the imports will.

Working in a packing plant is a dirty job. Packing plants thrive on a dirty community, so its in their best interest to keep a community populated with the right stock. There is nothing the local community can do because these plants have been in the business of community destruction for a long time, and they are very good at it.

They have their claws deeply buried in the upper echelon of the community that keeps them untouchable. Feeding the right people(school system) also keeps them out of the community's reach. They know how to stay in business.

But make no mistake about it they don't give a shit about the community. I'm betting you won't find one owner that lives in the same city as one of their plants. And for good reason.
