| I agree jackknife I'm happy to see action toward illegals but as Neo said I really don't think it was a choice of the plants. We're seeing a nation wide crack down on illegals and these plants are simply covering their own rears. Its also my understanding its both plants not just one that are firing the illegals and replacing them with legal imports.
I've also been told "you think we have a gang problem now, Puerto Ricans wrote the book on gangs." Why couldn't they(packing plants) have hired workers from within the 48 states? Its not like we don't have our own unemployment problem without importing from Puerto Rico.
